May we introduce ourselves? We are Bea Hekman and Nico Habermehl. We live with our Norwich Terriërs in Alphen aan de Rijn in Holland. Both of us have have a lot of experience in many aspects of dog handling. Nico's passion is agility, a discipline he has been participating in from an early age. My passion is mainly grooming and showing dogs.

In 2003 we bought our first Norwich Terrier, called Bommetje. It was love at first sight. He was a great dog. Thanks to him we really fell in love with the breed. Serious showing started with him. He was very successful in the show ring and won many titles, both national and international.

By now we are the proud owners of several Norwich Terriërs. Our Norwich Terriërs are part of the family and live inside our house. All of them are being shown in national and international dogshows. Apart from showing our own terriers, I also show Norwich Terriërs for other owners. For every show I groom the dogs myself.

Incidently we also breed puppies. Long term health is always our priority. All our Norwich Terriërs have been tested, since 2013, on Upper Airway Syndrom (UAS). For this we travel with the dogs to Switzerland. The dogs are extensively tested at the University of Bern by means of Laryngoscopy (checking the respiratory system via a scope). Also all our bred puppies are/will be tested on UAS. I want to make it clear that the male dogs we use for breeding have also been tested. Apart from testing the respiratory system, we also test on the eyes and luxation patella. It will be obvious that we only breed with Norwich Terriërs who have the right temperament.

All official UAS results of our dogs and pups are published on this website.

We hope you will enjoy our website. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
